High-speed machining and heavy cutting

CHIRON is introducing a completely new machine generation to the market with the FZ 18 series: dynamics paired with power.

The robust and fail-safe machining centres of the FZ 18 Series are designed for high-speed machining, as well as for heavy cutting.

Their superior strength lies in the stable base construction, which has sufficient power capacity available to complete even difficult cutting tasks within an extremely short period of time.

A complete program of advanced high-performance centres

The machines are available with 1 or 2 spindles, with a fixed table or with a workpiece changing unit, with an NC swivel rotary table or as a longbed, and with a basket changer with 20 tools or with a chain magazine with 40 or 60 tools.

DZ 18 : for double productivity

CHIRON has developed the 2nd generation of double spindle machines and now, with the DZ 18, is offering a machine which sets standards in this class.

Speed, flexibility, productivity, availability and accessibility: all these criteria have been optimised. The tool changer and the tool magazine are fully encapsulated outside of the work area. The DZ 18 has sufficient capacity for more complex machining tasks.
