The FZ 12 offers the best values with regard to speed and precision. The superior strength of this series lies in the stable base construction of the solid, robust machine tool design, which has considerable reserve capacity for completing even the most difficult cutting tasks in an ideal way.

The performance values are equally amazing. With chip-to-chip times of 1.9 s (FZ 12 W) and 2.4 s (FZ 12 W MAGNUM), the 12 Series is among the fastest of its class.

The robust construction of the spindle with generously dimensioned bearings and the tool interfaces SK 30, SK 40 or HSK 63 allow for excellent milling performance.

The FZ 12 W offers the best conditions for machining a wide range of workpieces. A few areas of application include the automobile supply industry, die casters or the manufacturers of other series parts for the machining of steering boxes, air conditioning compressors, pumps, common rail components, electric tool parts, surgical instruments, and many more.

The FZ 12 W is delivered with a quick workpiece changing table.

The FZ 12 W and FZ 12 W MAGNUM come equipped with modern and powerful drives, designed with digital technology. These allow the shortest positioning and minimum chip-to-chip times starting from 1.9 s. Exact digital drives and strong spindle drive for high cutting performance.

CHIRON is known worldwide for their lightning fast tool changes. The patented CHIRON basket changer with 20 tools shines with tool changing times as fast as 0.8 s. Thanks to the magazine which moves along, the additional axis traversal for the tool change is no longer necessary.
